How to Include Unique Discount Codes in Your Shopify Emails

Re-Engage Customers with Discounts

One of the most effective ways to drive additional purchases is by rewarding your customers with incentives. You can now easily include one-time use discount codes in any of the emails in Spently. For example, you may include an offer in your Shipping Confirmation email that says “As a way of saying thanks for shopping with us, here is a discount code for 10% off your next purchase within the next two weeks”

Getting Started

To get started, simply drag the Discount Code component on to the template of your choice from within the template builder. Configure the discount by using the component settings found on the right, where you can set the % or $ amount you would like to offer, and the expiration time. When you are happy with your discount settings and template design, simply save & export your template to Shopify for the discount code to take effect.

Exceed Customer Expectations

When your customer opens their email, Spently will display a unique discount code and automatically add it to your Shopify store for you, so there’s no additional setup required. Your customers can now enter the discount code during the checkout process to redeem it on their next purchase.
