Introduction

Hat Heaven is a Shopify merchant based in New York. It is a family business that started in 1986 by Brian's father under the name "Caps Unlimited" in the Bronx. In early 2018, Hat Heaven launched their e-commerce store. 

With this being the case, Brian contacted Roswell Studios in New York to build his online store and advise on growth strategy as they are industry leading experts in trendsetting projects within the fashion vertical.  Nihar Kulkarni, Roswell's Managing Director, recommended Spently as an essential customer retention tool which would help drive repeat sales by merchandising transactional emails - boasting open rates above 60%. Why Use Spently

Brian used the Shopify default templates for his transactional emails which did not match the Hat Heaven brand essence. As Brian mentioned, his customer base is always looking for the latest trends and fashions. Being able to display Hat Heaven's most popular collection from his store in their transactional emails was contributing towards additional repeat purchases. The team also noticed that linking individual banner images to popular collections helped to boost conversion and increased the click rate.
